i've been listening to bread a lot lately. they have great songs, but they aren't appreciated as much these days. i just re-read my last journal. wow. its true. my curfew up in coon rapids is 10. at home its 1. i might not be single anymore, and its ok with me. and i helped out with "seven brides for seven brothers". i was a semi-techie. it was a nice change, and i really did miss it.

i have a cold.
tuesday is my 19th birthday. i don't feel like i'm 19. i feel ageless. everybody keeps asking me what i want for my birthday and my answer is always the same : " i don't know "

i don't have a home. i have places that i sleep and shower at.

i'm in ames, iowa at the moment. summer is so different this year than it has been in the past. i've had that taste of freedom, and i feel so constricted. i love being a nanny to my cousins in coon rapids, but i can't see my friends, and my curfew is ten. TEN! that is if i go anywhere. i've only had one friend come up to see me. i've seen my friends some, sure. but my weekends have been filled since the first week of summer. sure, i'm excited for vacation...but i really just want to spend time with my friends! at hooligans, on the lake, at perkins, and the MOA! i haven't been to the MOA all summer! its depressing. and i miss theater. i want to do a show so badly, i can feel it in my fingertips and toes. i've been sleeping horribly. i broke up with tyler, because this summer didn't come with a time allowance for a serious relationship.
i just want to be single.
i just want to be with my friends.
i just want a summer.

i always do when i take naps. i forget....

wash my face, brush my teeth, go to the bathroom, put my computer on stand-by, go to the bathroom again, then climb into bed and talk.....then go to the bathroom again. then i sleep.

well, fame is different then being a celebrity. so i wouldn't mind some fame.

i have to, because kim and tyler sure as hell wouldn't.

sorry its been so long since i've updated, i haven't forgotten! i update all of my other blogs, i just seem to think that i put some up on here too.....but i don't
anyways. i am now nearly done with my first year of college, and i don't want to move home. i don't want to leave my friends, i don't want to leave tyler, i don't want to leave the weekends or the walks or anything. except maybe classes. this may term i've gotten into a bad habit of sleeping through class...bad kristi! but, usually the days or parts of days that i miss were pretty dull and they didn't get anything done. the stuff we've covered this last week was stuff on fallacies. things like "circular reasoning", "false dilemmas", "equivocation", emotive words", "ad hominem", "genetic fallacy", "appeal to authority", "appeal to the masses", "appeal to tradition", "hasty generalization", "faulty analogy", "false cause", and "slippery slope". most of the stuff is from philosophy courses, or even from my mass media class my senior year...yet, it's getting taught in a physics course! ok, so the name of it is "science for society", but still! but i'm not complaining too much, i got to write a wicked awesome paper on vampires. but....i'll also have to give a presentation on it anyways...it's not all bad. i got sun-burned on sunday. it's painful and uncomfortable, but it's slowly going away and i've had worse.
life goes on.......
